- The trick to removing the front cover is to swing it out from the
- bottom. It has a small tab that locks it into the top of the case.

- I have 2 PC288LCDs, and never had any problems with any fax machines
- before the upgrade. One of them was even older (one of the first
- built) and wouldn't even allow the upgrade chip. The upgraded one
- seems to work a bit smoother now, although I can't figure out exactly
- what got fixed. My first one is being swapped out for the newer
- version.
