  19. The trick to removing the front cover is to swing it out from the
  20. bottom. It has a small tab that locks it into the top of the case.
  21. When re-assembling it, simply put in the top first and swing it shut
  22. the same way. I thought it was harder separating the 2 internal
  23. circuit boards.

  40. I have 2 PC288LCDs, and never had any problems with any fax machines
  41. before the upgrade. One of them was even older (one of the first
  42. built) and wouldn't even allow the upgrade chip. The upgraded one
  43. seems to work a bit smoother now, although I can't figure out exactly
  44. what got fixed. My first one is being swapped out for the newer
  45. version.
